La Mia esperienza presso la Fondazione
Uno dei miei più grandi desideri è sempre stato quello di conoscere nuove persone e vivere culture diverse, non solo come viaggiatrice, ma lavorando con i bambini e con persone meravigliose a cui poter restare accanto nella quotidianità . Volevo essere qualcuno capace di portare un sorriso agli altri, senza mai immaginare che, in quel viaggio, sarei stata io a ricevere il dono più grande.
Questa è una casa famiglia che dedica tutto il proprio cuore a bambini che hanno un disperato bisogno di pazienza e comprensione; far parte di una realtà simile ha lasciato un segno indelebile nella mia anima.
Non ho mai provato così tanto calore, emozione pura e profonda comprensione umana in tutta la mia vita. Questa esperienza mi ha cambiata nel profondo. Mi ha insegnato, proprio come fanno loro, a vedere il meglio in ognuno e ad approcciarmi al mondo con il cuore aperto. Oggi so che, da qualche parte là fuori, ho una famiglia che amo come se fosse la mia e una casa dove potrò sempre tornare.
L’Italia non mi ha regalato solo nuovi paesaggi: mi ha dato una lezione d’amore che non conosce confini e persone che mi hanno resa una persona migliore. Sono la mia seconda famiglia, a cui voglio un bene immenso e che continuerò sicuramente a visitare per il resto della mia vita.

One of my greatest desires has always been to meet new people and experience different cultures, not just as a traveler, but through working with children and wonderful people whose daily lives I could brighten. I wanted to be someone who brings a smile to others, never imagining that on that journey I would be the one receiving the most.My arrival for a volunteer internship at Casa di Maria Betania (Fondazione Maria Betania) in Italy was one of those magical experiences that simply cannot be forgotten. Words are often too pale to describe the hospitality and unconditional love I felt there, which I will carry with me forever.Even though my stay in Brescia lasted almost two months, the time flew by as if it were only five days. From the very first moment, I didn’t feel like a stranger or just a volunteer, but like an equal member of one big and noble family. This is a community that dedicates its whole heart to children who desperately need patience and understanding, and being part of such an organization has left an indelible mark on my soul.I have never experienced such warmth, pure emotion, and deep human understanding in my life. This experience changed me from the ground up. It taught me, just like them, to see the best in everyone and to approach the world with an open heart. Today, I know that somewhere out there I have a family I love as if they were my own, and a home I can always return to.Italy didn’t just give me new landscapes – it gave me a lesson in love that knows no borders and people who made me a better person. They are my second family, whom I love dearly and will surely continue to visit for the rest of my life.
